A private school serves as the student’s primary educational placement and provides full-time, in-person instruction. The school is responsible for curriculum, instruction, academic goals, pacing, grading, and student evaluation.

Online-only programs and organizations that provide supplemental educational services, therapies, tutoring, enrichment activities, or other support services are not considered private schools. These organizations may qualify as service providers and can be found in the Service Provider Directory.
